Some how, the impossible became possible! I got to live in Austria while learning about opera, seeing beautiful world renown art, and even got to hang out with the dancers and opera singers of Il Travatore, and catch a sneek performance via invitation a cute ballet dancer named Olli! After a couple months of class and living by a lake with the most incredible host mom Valdi, nestled in a valley between gorgeous mountains, I got to travel around with three fanstastic girls to Italy, Paris France, Belgium and Amsterdam! Really, I can't sum up all that I learned, and saw, but it was truly a blessing from God and family that made it possible and I will remember it always! I have some pictures up at http:// community.webshots.com/user/starkissed543OH and best of all, even though I'm at home helping with finances, I found a way to become a certified art teacher and am working towards that now! It's amazing the crazy detours life takes, but when life thows you some fast hard lemons, it can only help the flavor of liplicking lemonade!

~Got to do a workshop with a famous performance artist and my peers..... yeah it was sweet... check Guillermo Pinas out at http://www.pochasnostros.com.... pretty sure that's the spelling (play around with it if not). ~Also, this just in....found out that I accidentaly had this website so it would only accept comments from registered peeps... but now changed it so anyone and everyone can drop a comment... hope maybe that's the reason why previously I have 0 comments....hint, hint but I'm still new in the game and havn't gotten too much word out, soooooo leave me one so I don't start singing the "So lonely" song, heehee, although I do anyways becuase smerf voices are fun!
<-- here's Cedric being my live model for the art piece I call "break away" dealing with culture identity. Below is a picture of Michelle being my model I'd like to title, "Scary Dream" dealing with the topic of Dreams.... wish I had a picture of the final product where everyone put their "blinded" models together in a pose to make a composition... was an AWESOME experience! Peace ~ash
K2sum up..., Halloween party fun, Onyi's 2nd Galla off the hook, and now going for masters in Studio Art!

And now I must go on to try to make 20 paintings for January when I apply so this entry will be probably be my only successful short and sweet entry.....
in good fun spirit of simplyfying ~joy and peace, ash

Wow, I'm pretty terrible at keeping this journal log up! Well alot is going on so I guess it's not to suprising, since I'm in an ongoing battle of trying to figure out my future, lol! Luckily I'm really fortunate to be figuring this out in good health and in a nurturing environment.... where I can also have some fun and catch an MSU football game for free. Later that night I also got to go with my room mate Sarah to the spartan spectacular to see the drumline do their thing again. Unfortunately at the football game that was just about the only interesting thing on the field... because we played horribly... no but all the same it was pretty exciting. My Uncle Barry will be glad I finally got in on that action....hey what can I say, tickets aren't cheap and life is busy, but I definately loved it! Alright, random point of interest, today I saw on tv this amazing story of a girl named Brook... she's a twelve year old girl..... but get this.... she has the body size and mentality of a 6 month year old!!!! They have been the only one to have such a case, or so they know of..... and they've looked alot. Nevertheless, it's like an unknown factor that leaves this precious child frozen in time! Life is wierder than fantasy. Ok, going on to my other site where I've come to use to contemplate our existence and where I'm trying to get an ongoing discussion where I can learn what others might have to say or think about what I lay down, and vise versa..... so check it out if you have a sec... it's http://www.xanga.com/sunkist543 lataz ~Ash

and by the end of the night the Indian Palace almost turns into a full out party... it was hype but not out of control, but wow, what a priveledge to be in the mix of all of this interesting culture where Africa and India, not to mention some Peurto Rico (Annett, lol) dance together wrapping you in color, spirit, and song. All poetry aside though it was a great night with great people, all brought together for the sake of celebrating with Onyi! Well just thought I'd try to throw in a quick update, now to run and catch up with lithography! Joy and love all, lataz!

Summer comes to an end:( So in Loving Memory of summer 2005, here's a picture of me and Nic! (a friend who goes way back), after a 12-15 mile bike ride around the lake... which of course rocked!! A few more memorable excursions that taunt me now as the winter cold sets in, are: 2 baseball games to the white caps where all of our theme songs from the summer randomely played so we start dancing in the stands, all 50 of us... I think they wanted to hire us to keep the crowd hype, yeah GL Staff!; a couple long bon-fires, complete with rain dance stick, trampaline mayham, and... Princess Bride!!! Best romantic comedy EVER; a kiyak trip with Amanda and Tiffuny.... never forget the tree! ;), and other very fun memorable outdoor rompings! I miss all of you guys!.. k, now to work on wrapping up what I was talking about in my xanga site... check it out yo! http://xanga.com/sunkist543... inspiration and peace in making the best of each moment! ~Ash, a.k.a. Hey All, I'm finally on board
arriving fashionably late as usual!
First day of Fall has come, and I am emmersed in my studies painting as well as lithography, and saturday art class! But still I come up for air to breath in friendship, God, and music!
In a non poetic version this means that I got to have fun with room mates, and catch lunch with old friends, and listening to the bible on cd which helps sooo much to learn some amazing things about the secrets of the universe that God has whispered in parables, yet his Truth He does not hide from us. However he speaks in a quiet way, in order that we should be able to choose to love Him and get to know, because real love comes only from choosing freely to love.
I got to eat lunch with Kellie, Nicole, and Sam. A truly honest bunch of girls that do not give into conforming to society, and have so many interesting things that they have to share since they don't spend their time trying to look cuter, lol!
Not that that's bad to do, but each person has strengths that are shown in different ways, so don't hate if a persons values are different, rather see the strength in the reason behind their difference! And yes, weaknesses are also tied to these strengths which means only that we are learning human beings that get better over time, lol!
That's my advice for the moment, I wish more people would write what they've learned and not be too afraid of being called stuck up, because since when has it been true that a person learning something and another person being able to bennifit from this knowledge, made a person stuck up... I'm glad that people have had soo much to teach me at different times, and I them... let's learn, love, and live an exciting life! Alright, gotta get some work done so I can go and watch longest yard with some friends! Hopefully more concise journal entries to come with less ramblings. Joy and Peaceout!
